Took me a few days to get but now Im loving it

Hello, great tutorial. I have a question.. I just got one of these and I am loading an empty project. Then I select PAD 1 and then press the “A”encoder in order to try to load some samples. After I press encoder “A” it takes me to the “SAMPLE POOL” which has some folder names for example: “Chris Lody”, “Christian Laff”, “Dr. YuEndo” and a few others but they are completely empty. There are no samples for me to be able to load. I assume that the “SAMPLE POOL” is not the SAMPLE LIBRARY correct? Another question is How can I get to the preloaded sample library so I can load samples onto one of the pads? I know this seems very basic but I am having a hard time loading samples from the SD card into the PADS. Thank you

If you wanted a simple but effective portable sketchpad to complement an MPC One what would you recommend? Step sequencer super important to me? Thx

Hi bro, thanks for your useful insights into the 404. Muchos appreciated. I do have a question though, is there anyway, whilst in DJ mode to access the headphone volume? The usual access to independent headphone volume from DJ mode is blocked, which is an issue playing live. I think regardless the best solution is a separate headphone amp if there's no shortcut within the 404.

Did u just erase the demo songs? To have access those first 8 pattern slots?

I suggest pre-recording a few standalone videos that you can hold back.That way, when you get your next freelancing contract, you can still keep uploading to RUclips on a somewhat regular schedule.

Thank you for the explanations! : I was wondering if there is a way to merge patterns, so that if I copy a pattern on another slot that the sounds that are already saved on this new slot stay there and the ones I want to copy would be added? That would at least be a great feature, if you e.g. have a melodic part and a drum pattern and want to use them separately and then combined within a song..

I wish they would make an MK2 machine but with the AD chips from the 404/404sx, honestly.... that's one of the best parts of the whole SP series

Yeah I totally understand the situation. I never earned from youtube, but I am a back-end developer, so I know the numbers there. Unfortunately I am unemployed right now, but as a family guy and a parent it is no brainer what job I should get back to.

Small suggestion for future skins, would be cool to have them indicating the newly added features, like ie. looper behind the mark button. It would help with keeping up with the shortcuts a little bit. :) 🤜
